| Experience: | Mr. Catalano is a registered geologist and registered sanitarian. He has professional experience performing numerous hydrogeologic investigations throughout central and northern Arizona. He is Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) certified. He has completed investigations in support of Water Reports, Certificates of Assured Water Supply, Analyses of Adequate Water Supply, Designations of Adequate Water Supply, and Physical Availability Demonstrations. Mr. Catalano has extensive experience working with the Arizona Department of Water Resources’ Office of Assured and Adequate Water Supply. He has participated in many aspects of water well work including the design, permitting, installation, development, and testing of new production wells and monitoring wells. Mr. Catalano has also created and overseen rehabilitation and abandonment plans for existing wells. Mr. Catalano is experienced with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality’s (ADEQ) Aquifer Protection Permit (APP) program. He has completed hydrologic studies that have been submitted to ADEQ as a supplement to the APP application. As part of the hydrologic studies, he has completed aquifer impact analyses to determine the theoretical impact on the aquifer due to effluent disposal. In addition, he has managed field investigations to characterize effluent disposal areas. Mr. Catalano has also overseen installation and testing of recharge wells. |
